About St Mark EV Lutheran Church Elca
St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church, located in Davenport's West End since 1922, welcomes all to worship and grow in faith. The congregation gathers at 9:30am each Sunday for worship, with additional services on the first and third Sundays at 4:00pm, and online worship available via YouTube for those unable to attend in person. St. Mark shares its building with Iglesia Camino de Emaus, a Spanish-speaking congregation that meets at 5:30pm on Sundays. The church is known for its distinctive north-facing window depicting Christ the Good Shepherd, which is illuminated each night as a symbol of Christ's love to the community. Beyond worship, St. Mark emphasizes care through service opportunities, faith formation for all ages, and fellowship gatherings, inviting visitors to participate in the church's mission of welcome, worship, and witness.
