Capitol Hill Christian Church is a Disciples of Christ congregation located at 3322 E. 25th Street in Des Moines, Iowa. The church gathers for worship each Sunday at 10:00 a.m., preceded by a Hospitality Time with treats and beverages at 9:30 a.m. Weekly worship includes scripture, prayer, music, proclamation, and Communion, with leadership from both lay members and clergy. The congregation is deeply committed to mission work locally and beyond, including monthly food pantry collections for the Des Moines Area Religious Council, participation in the annual Hunger Hike, and support for ministries in Detroit, Michigan and Texas. Capitol Hill also welcomes various community groups to use its building, including Narcotics Anonymous and neighborhood associations, and hosts four additional congregations within its walls, creating a rich and culturally diverse faith community.
