About First Church of the Open Bible
First Church of the Open Bible in Des Moines exists to bring the life-transforming Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Des Moines Metro and beyond. The church welcomes everyone and emphasizes that visitors will experience inspiring music and biblically based teachings each Sunday. First Church is committed to helping people be transformed by the Good News of Jesus Christ through vibrant worship and scriptural instruction. The congregation gathers on Sunday mornings at 10:00 AM, with an additional Wednesday evening service at 6:30 PM. Located at 2200 Beaver Avenue in Des Moines, the church invites the community to join them for a service focused on making much of Jesus Christ.
