About Hope Lutheran Church
Hope Lutheran Church is a member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod located on the east side of Des Moines, Iowa. Founded in 1959 by eleven couples, the congregation has grown to nearly 300 people in worship and has completed two major building additions since its groundbreaking service in March 1960. The church's ministry is built on the Parable of the Sower, emphasizing the reception of God's Word, growth in faith, and the sharing of Christ's hope with others. Hope Lutheran offers in-person worship services, adult and youth Bible study, and serves families and children through various ministries.
