Churches in Baxter Springs, KS

For a first visit, plan to confirm the Sunday schedule with the church before you go, since only a few churches share Sunday service times. If worship style matters to you, there are some contemporary options and at least one traditional option noted, but details vary by church. Families may want to ask about kids ministry, which appears at a couple of congregations, and students can look for a youth group option. Small groups are also available at some churches, which can be a helpful next step after attending worship. Midweek activity is more limited, with a Wednesday gathering noted for one church, so checking ahead is the simplest way to avoid guessing.

What stands out is the repeated emphasis on welcome and community service. First Assembly Of God is described with worship, fellowship, and outreach, while Fellowship Baptist Church, Crossroad Christian Church, and First Christian Church are each presented as welcoming congregations serving Baxter Springs. The overall mix gives visitors several approachable choices across Baptist, Christian, Assemblies of God, and Methodist traditions.
