About Christ Episcopal Church
Christ Episcopal Church in Elizabethtown is also home to Christ Lutheran Chapel, where members of The Episcopal Church USA and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America worship together. The congregation meets in a historic church building consecrated on April 2, 1851. Christ Church became a parish in 1988 after 137 years as a dependent mission of the Diocese of Kentucky. Marriott Hall, added in 1954 and remodeled and enlarged in 1993–1994, supports congregational life and gatherings. The church offers Sunday Holy Eucharist services in Rite I and Rite II, Wednesday Compline, youth group, and small groups.
