Churches in Greensburg, KY

If you are planning a first Sunday visit, it is worth checking directly with the church before you go, since few churches share Sunday service times. Greensburg United Methodist Church does give a Sunday service time of 9:30 am CST in the main sanctuary, making it one of the easier visits to plan around. Families may want to ask about kids ministry or youth group, since a few churches mention those programs. Small groups appear less often, so if that matters to you, ask a church directly how people connect outside worship. A Wednesday gathering is mentioned by one church, which could be helpful if you are looking beyond Sunday.

What stands out is how many churches describe themselves in welcoming terms. Baptist congregations are especially prominent, and many of them emphasize serving the Greensburg community. The overall picture feels steady and familiar: mostly traditional worship, several congregations rooted in Baptist life, and a smaller but clear Methodist and Presbyterian presence for visitors who connect with those traditions.
