About Liberty Deaf Assembly
Liberty Deaf Assembly of God in Baton Rouge has served the deaf community since 1993, initially as a mission for deaf children and teens. The church relocated to its current building in 1999 and continues to grow under deaf leadership. All services are conducted in American Sign Language with voice interpreters available upon request. The church welcomes deaf, hard of hearing, and hearing people of all ages to worship together, participate in community, and share in deaf culture. In addition to Sunday worship at 10:00 a.m., the church now offers Deaf Adult Bible Study on Monday evenings. The ministry emphasizes communication, relationships, and the message that God loves all people.
