About Shepherd's Care
Shepherd's Care Counseling Ministries is an evangelical nonprofit organization based in Covington, Louisiana, dedicated to providing faith-based pastoral counseling and spiritual care to survivors of abuse and trauma. The ministry offers free counseling services to individuals affected by ritual abuse, clergy abuse, sexual abuse, human trafficking, domestic violence, and child abuse, as well as support for trauma-related conditions such as PTSD, DID, OCD, and BPD. Through secure online platforms via Zoom and private video conferencing, Shepherd's Care connects survivors with trained pastoral counselors and Christian therapists in a confidential setting. Beyond individual and group counseling, the ministry teaches and trains professional therapists, pastors, counselors, and church leaders in spiritual healing, deliverance ministries, and conflict resolution. The organization also publishes Christian literature and arranges in-person support networks to help survivors find hope and healing grounded in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
