About St Andrew Presbyterian Church
St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, founded in 1959, has long served the Lake Charles community with a particular focus on campus outreach to nearby McNeese University. The congregation ministers to students through meals and tutoring support while also engaging in broader community and mission work. Following devastating damage from Hurricane Laura in 2020 and subsequent flooding, the church has embarked on rebuilding its sanctuary to continue serving its congregation. Guided by its mission to journey together with Christ toward acceptance, restoration, and purpose, St. Andrew welcomes visitors seeking spiritual community and meaningful connection rooted in Presbyterian tradition and Christian faith.
