About The Lord's Place
The Lord's Outreach International Ministries is a faith community founded in 1987 by Rev. Leona Clements Benoit in Lake Charles, Louisiana, with a strong commitment to serving the homeless and vulnerable through multiple shelter ministries, including The Lord's Place for homeless men, The Potter's House for women and children, and The Wilderness Children's Home. Led by Dr. Russell J. Benoit as Senior Pastor, the church operates The Lord's Outreach Worship Center and also operates The Lord's Outreach School of Theology, which has trained over 2,500 students for Christian ministry across multiple locations. The ministry emphasizes biblical teaching, practical outreach to the community, and spiritual formation rooted in what they describe as the doctrine of Jesus Christ. Visitors are welcomed to attend scheduled events and are encouraged to connect with this missions-focused congregation that integrates worship with active service to those in need.
