Baptist Community Ministries is a faith-based Christian organization founded in 1996 and serving the Greater New Orleans area across five parishes. Rather than operating as a traditional congregation, BCM functions as one of Louisiana's largest private foundations, committed to improving the physical, mental, and spiritual health of individuals and communities through grants, chaplaincy services, and congregational wellness ministries. Over its 29-year history, BCM has invested more than $265 million in local nonprofits and currently deploys professionally trained chaplains to healthcare centers and police departments while supporting wellness ministries in 194 churches throughout the region. The organization embodies core values of faithfulness, compassion, respect, sustainability, and transparency in its faith-based mission rooted in the Baptist heritage.
