About Maranatha Adventist Fellowship
Maranatha Adventist Fellowship is a Bible-believing, inclusive church located in Bowie, Maryland, that celebrates worship infused with African culture, multiple languages, and vibrant hospitality. Founded in 1995 by Nigerian Adventists and officially established in 1996, the congregation has grown from small informal Bible studies to a diverse fellowship representing members from Nigeria, Cameroon, the West Indies, USA, Kenya, South Africa, and Zimbabwe. The church welcomes everyone regardless of nationality and emphasizes the transforming power of God's Word to change lives one person at a time. Currently under the leadership of Pastor Uzooma Erondu, Maranatha worships on a 6.7-acre property acquired in 2009 and continues to expand its ministry through capital campaigns and community engagement. Visitors are invited to experience the warm, loving fellowship and unique blend of faith and cultural richness that characterizes this Seventh-day Adventist community.
