About Catholic Student Center
The Catholic Student Center at the University of Maryland welcomes the Terp community to encounter Jesus Christ through spiritual formation, authentic discipleship, and joyful community. Located at 4141 Guilford Drive in College Park, the center serves as a Newman Center and home away from home for Catholic students and members of the university community. The center offers regular Mass, spiritual direction, and a robust campus ministry program including Wednesday night dinners featuring free food and fellowship following the 5:30pm Mass. With a dedicated staff including Fr. Conrad Murphy and several campus ministers, the center emphasizes being known, loved, and transformed through Christ while fostering purposeful community and selfless generosity among young adult Catholics.

Dress Code: Not specified — please contact the church directly. Service Format: Wednesday evening Mass at 5:30pm followed by free dinner at 6pm; Saturday 5pm Mass and Sunday 10am Mass offered during out-of-semester periods. Visitor Tips: The center is open 9am–9pm daily during the academic semester and welcomes all members of the university community; Wednesday dinners include activities like spikeball, volleyball, and nine square in addition to Mass and dining.
