The Lighthouse Church is a non-denominational, Bible-based congregation located in Glen Burnie, Maryland, led by Bishop Dr. Paul Murray and First Lady Rachel Murray. Founded in 2002 with just twelve members, the church has grown into a vibrant community focused on leading people to a life-changing relationship with Jesus through practical, biblically grounded teaching and servant leadership. The church emphasizes genuine kingdom building and offers multiple ministries including Discovery Classes, Hot Topics Series, Discipleship Groups, and Community Service Projects, with a vision to impact Anne Arundel County and beyond. First-Time Visitor Info for The Lighthouse Church
Dress Code: People come from all backgrounds and dress in ways they are comfortable, from jeans to business casual to their 'Sunday best'—visitors are welcomed to come as they are. Service Format: Sunday morning Discovery Class begins at 10:30am with Bible-based teaching and practical application, followed by Sunday Worship Service at 11:15am featuring music, a relatable message, and opportunities for prayer and healing. Services typically last a little over an hour. Wednesday evening midweek study is held at 7:00pm as an informal one-hour class. Children under 3 have a nursery, and children ages 3–6th grade attend Children's Sunday School. Visitor Tips: Arrive early to greet the church family and ask questions during the interactive Discovery Class. Some services include communion with no pressure to participate if you prefer not to. After service, you're welcome to stay and connect with church members.
