Churches in Ocean City, MD

If you are planning a Sunday visit, most churches with shared schedules begin between 10 and 11 AM, with a smaller number starting earlier. One begins before 9 AM, and another falls in the 9 to 10 AM range, so it is worth checking ahead if your morning is tight. Families can look for kids ministry at several churches, and a youth group appears in the mix as well. Small groups are also available at several congregations for those hoping to connect beyond worship. If worship style matters to you, traditional services are the most common, while a couple of churches offer contemporary worship.

What stands out is the mix of long-rooted and welcoming congregations. Saint George Church’s story centers on a parish-built home for the Greek Orthodox community, while Son Spot Ministries is described as a missionary outreach with roots in a Christ-centered gathering place. Several churches also speak in practical, welcoming terms about worship, service, residents, and visitors.
