About Christian Science
Christian Science Detroit welcomes visitors to explore this branch of one of America's distinctive faith traditions. The Christian Science church emphasizes spiritual healing through prayer and the study of Scripture, with roots in 19th-century New England theology. Members gather for Sunday services centered on readings from the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, Mary Baker Eddy's foundational text. The Detroit congregation participates in the broader Christian Science movement, which includes reading rooms and other community outreach efforts. Located in Michigan's largest city, this church serves those seeking a healing-centered, spiritually progressive approach to Christian faith and practice. Visitors are invited to attend services and discover how Christian Science offers comfort, guidance, and renewal to members and friends alike.
