Churches in East Jordan, MI

If you are planning a first Sunday visit, it is a good idea to check directly with the church before you go, since few churches share Sunday service times. Traditional worship is the clearest pattern among the churches where style is known, so expect several options that may feel familiar if you have attended mainline, Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian, or Free Methodist services before. Families can look for churches with kids ministry, and students may find youth group options at more than one congregation. Small groups are also available at one church, which can be a helpful next step after visiting a worship service. A simple call or message can confirm the best time to arrive and whether children’s or youth programs are meeting that week.

What stands out is the spread of Protestant traditions in a fairly small church landscape: Baptist, Presbyterian, Methodist, Free Methodist, and Missionary Church are all represented. Several congregations describe their work in terms of serving the East Jordan community, while Lighthouse Missionary Church adds a clear focus on belief, belonging, and becoming holy people. The overall feel is practical and ministry-minded, with youth group, kids ministry, and small groups available in select churches.
