About Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox
Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, founded in 1926 by Greek immigrants, has grown from its humble beginnings into a vibrant, diverse parish serving Grand Rapids from its current location at 330 Lakeside Drive NE since 1976. The church welcomes converts, those preparing for Orthodox faith, and families with roots in traditionally Orthodox countries. Under the pastoral leadership of Fr. Joshua Pappas, who has served since 2019, Holy Trinity maintains the ancient, unbroken tradition of Orthodox Christianity while worshiping primarily in English. The parish emphasizes transformative spiritual life through sacramental worship, contemplative practice, and discipleship. Visitors are invited to experience the liturgical rhythm of the church and encounter what the community describes as the fullness of God's presence meeting earth in their Byzantine sanctuary.
