About Our Savior's Lutheran Church
Our Savior's Lutheran Church is an active, growing congregation in Albany, Minnesota, serving the Central Minnesota area including Avon, Freeport, Melrose, Holdingford, and Farming. The church was formed in 1967 through the merger of two Albany churches, Ebenezer Evangelical and Christ Church, and later welcomed members from St. John's Lutheran and Trinity Lutheran. The congregation joined the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) in 1987 and dedicated a newly renovated sanctuary and fellowship hall in 1999. Worship services are held in-person and online, with opportunities for fellowship, education, and community service. Visitors are invited to join the congregation for worship, fellowship activities, and various ministry opportunities throughout the year.
