About Blackduck Evangelical Free Chr
Blackduck Evangelical Free Church has served the northern Minnesota community since its organization in 1926, growing from humble beginnings in homes and schoolhouses to its current facilities dedicated in 1974 with expansions completed in 2012. Under the pastoral leadership of Eric Gorden, who returned to his Minnesota roots in 2025 after a distinguished military and ministry career, the church remains committed to its vision of glorifying God and making disciples of Jesus Christ. The congregation gathers for Sunday School at 9:00 AM and worship service at 10:00 AM, embodying the Evangelical Free Church's core convictions about Scripture, grace, and sacrificial Christian living. As the church approaches its 100th anniversary in 2026, it continues to minister to families, meet community needs, and proclaim the Gospel throughout the Blackduck area and surrounding regions.
