Blackduck Evangelical Free Church is a welcoming community of faith located in Blackduck, Minnesota, with a rich history spanning over a century. Founded in 1922 by a group of believers who gathered in homes and schoolhouses, the church became formally organized and affiliated with the Evangelical Free Church of America in 1926. The congregation has grown and evolved through the decades, moving to its current location in 1974 and expanding facilities in 2012 to better serve families and the surrounding area. Under the pastoral leadership of Eric Gorden, who returned to northern Minnesota in 2025 after years of ministry service, the church remains committed to its vision of glorifying God and making disciples of Jesus Christ. BEFC emphasizes biblical teaching, community fellowship, and reaching others through the Holy Spirit, serving as a home for visitors and members alike.
