Lutheran Island Camp & Retreat Center is a year-round ministry located on a beautiful 67-acre island in east-central Minnesota, about ten miles west of Henning. Founded in 1949 with a vision to serve the church as a summer camp for youth, the facility has grown to provide programs and services to hundreds of people annually. The camp seeks to nourish the whole person for joyful, Christ-centered life and service, with a mission rooted in connecting people to God's Word, creation, and one another through worship, ministry, education, and a welcoming community characterized by love, forgiveness, and celebration.
