Holy Myrrhbearers Orthodox Church is a welcoming Orthodox Christian community serving Saint Cloud and Central Minnesota since 1999. The parish, which was elevated to full status in 2024, traces its roots to the first Orthodox church in the region, established in Holdingford in 1895. Led by Father Jason Ketz, who was ordained to the priesthood in February 2025, the church offers a rich liturgical tradition rooted in the apostolic faith. The community gathers in a beautiful Gothic-style building originally constructed in 1929, located near the Mississippi River and downtown Saint Cloud. Holy Myrrhbearers is part of the Orthodox Church in America and serves over one hundred parishioners, many of whom are converts seeking a deeper connection with Christ through ancient Christian worship and practice.
