About Marianists
The Marianist Province of the United States, headquartered in Saint Louis, represents a 200-year-old Catholic religious congregation of brothers and priests dedicated to the charism of Mary. The Marianists are prayerful, joyful men who view education as a privileged means of bringing others to Christ, operating secondary schools and universities with a focus on family spirit, service, and social justice. Beyond education, the community actively pursues social justice through service to the poor and vulnerable, Christian activism, environmental preservation, and quality education in the United States, India, and Eastern Africa. The Marianist Family extends beyond the brothers and priests to include the Marianist Sisters and lay women and men committed to this shared charism, creating a diverse, global community present in more than thirty countries.
