About St. Theresa Parish
St. Theresa Parish is a welcoming Catholic community in Rye, New Hampshire, with deep roots in the region. Originally established as a summer mission in the 1940s, the parish became a year-round community in 1979 and now serves a diverse congregation unified by faith. The church building, constructed in 1946-1947 from granite blocks, features stunning stained glass windows created by Charles J. Connick Associates and a beautiful rose window over the altar. Under the pastoral leadership of Father Gary J. Kosmowski, the parish is committed to proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ by being a safe, holy, and hospitable place where all are welcome. Nourished by the Eucharist, the community reaches out in service to family and the surrounding area, embodying the spirit of their patron saint, St. Thérèse of Lisieux, through small acts of love and kindness.
