About Montclair NJ Church of Christ
Montclair Church of Christ has served the New Jersey community for nearly 90 years, beginning with its founding in Newark in 1935 by Evangelist Howard Johnson. The congregation relocated to Montclair in 1964 and continues its legacy of pre-denominational Christianity rooted in the teachings of Scripture and the early church. Under the pastoral leadership of Minister Dr. Willie L. Parker, the church is committed to evangelism, spiritual growth, and extending a loving welcome to all who enter. The church offers Sunday Bible School at 10:00 AM and Sunday Worship at 11:00 AM, along with Wednesday Bible Study at 7:00 PM, with both in-person and online participation available via Zoom. Beyond worship, the congregation engages in community service and recently added an AI Workshop held Sundays at 4:00 PM to address contemporary concerns. Located at 175 Glenridge Avenue, Montclair Church of Christ invites visitors to experience warm hospitality and meaningful biblical teaching.
