Saint Cassian Roman Catholic Church, located in Upper Montclair, New Jersey, was founded in 1895 and has grown from a small mission church of twelve families to a vibrant parish of approximately 1,650 families today. The parish operates a thriving elementary school, St. Cassian School, which earned the prestigious National Blue Ribbon Award in 2016 and serves over 250 students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade with a curriculum emphasizing STREAM education. Under the pastoral leadership of Fr. Steven D'Andrea and a dedicated staff, the parish offers weekend Masses on Saturdays at 5:30 p.m. and Sundays at 7:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m., and 11:30 a.m., along with daily Mass opportunities and regular confession times. The current church building, completed in 1995 following a major capital campaign, features beautiful stained glass windows, the restored Schantz organ, and houses a relic of the parish's patron saint, Saint Cassian of Imola, installed in the altar. Saint Cassian welcomes new parishioners and visitors to join in its long tradition of faith and community service.
