The church is dedicated to building a vibrant Christian community based on biblical principles and serving as an agent of positive change in the greater New Brunswick and Middlesex County area. Under the leadership of Senior Pastor W. Golden Carmon and Assistant Pastor Mattie A. Carmon, Mount Zion has experienced renewed growth and became debt-free for the first time in 43 years. The church offers multiple worship opportunities including Sunday Church School at 9:00 AM and Sunday Morning Worship at 10:00 AM, both available in-person and via virtual participation. The congregation also provides midweek spiritual development through Power Wednesday Prayer Calls, Pastor's Bible Study, and Women's Ministry Miracle Monday Prayer Calls, demonstrating a commitment to sustained spiritual growth and community connection.
