About Ocean City Tabernacle Association
The Ocean City Tabernacle Association is a historic non-denominational Christian gathering place founded in 1879 by four Methodist ministers who envisioned a seaside community centered on faith and spiritual renewal. For more than 150 years, the Tabernacle has served as a place where the Gospel is proclaimed through worship services, biblical teaching, and sacred music, welcoming both residents and visitors throughout the summer season and year-round. The church operates as a community ministry center rather than a traditional local church, hosting dynamic speakers from various Christian denominations and offering programs for children, youth, and families. Beyond its main summer services, the Tabernacle supports year-round ministries including Ark Preschool, the Son Club after-school program, and the Kull Youth Center, demonstrating a deep commitment to strengthening families and nurturing the next generation in faith.
