About Ocean City Tabernacle
The Ocean City Tabernacle is a historic non-denominational Christian gathering place with roots stretching back to 1879, when four Methodist ministers established it as the spiritual center of Ocean City, New Jersey. For over 150 years, the Tabernacle has welcomed residents and visitors to hear Gospel proclamation, worship together, and experience spiritual renewal along the shore. The ministry features traditional services at 8:30am and contemporary services at 10:30am, supplemented by a summer speaker series that draws well-known pastors and Bible teachers from across Christian denominations. Beyond Sunday worship, the Tabernacle operates year-round programs including Ark Preschool, the Son Club after-school program for students, and the Kull Youth Center for youth retreats and events.
