About St Elizabeth Orthodox Chu
St. Elizabeth the New-Martyr Orthodox Church is an English-language parish of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, serving Orthodox Christians in Central New Jersey since its founding in 1998. The parish, located in Rocky Hill, occupies a historic church building originally constructed in 1905 as St. James Chapel. The community has undertaken extensive renovations and iconographic projects, including the installation of a beautiful iconostasis with 44 painted icons and multiple tiers of liturgical artwork. Under the pastoral leadership of Father David Straut, the parish hosts regular Divine Liturgies and vigil services, as well as community gatherings including coffee hours.
