About Catholic Charities
Catholic Charities of Central New Mexico is a nonprofit organization serving over 5,000 individuals annually across Bernalillo, Sandoval, Valencia, and Santa Fe counties. Rooted in Catholic social teaching but welcoming to people of all faiths and backgrounds, the organization has been working to create hope and stability for those in need for over 80 years. Their comprehensive programs include affordable housing development, immigration support with low and no-cost legal representation, refugee resettlement services, adult education and job training, senior services, housing assistance, and a children's learning center. With about 85 dedicated staff members and over 200 volunteers, Catholic Charities walks alongside individuals and families to promote self-sufficiency, strengthen families, and fight poverty. The organization operates with core values of faith, integrity, inclusivity, respect, and shared humanity, serving regardless of race, religion, color, country of origin, disabilities, gender, age, or sexual orientation.
