About First Presbyterian Church of Santa Fe
First Presbyterian Church of Santa Fe, founded in 1867, is the oldest Protestant church in New Mexico and Arizona. Rooted in the Presbyterian tradition and deeply committed to justice and inclusion, the congregation actively works to grow what they call the Beloved Community—challenging systems of injustice and building a fellowship open to all people regardless of faith background, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, age, or ability. The church embraces both traditional and contemporary worship styles, offers multiple service times throughout the week including morning prayer and Celtic EvenSong, and engages in numerous community ministries focused on immigrant accompaniment, climate action, and social justice. Visitors are welcomed into a community that values honest questioning, contemplative silence, and the adventure of following Christ together.
