About Santa Teresa Baptist Church
Santa Teresa Baptist Church is a small, thriving Reformed Baptist congregation located in Santa Teresa, New Mexico, serving a predominantly young families and bilingual community on the international border with Juarez, Mexico. Founded in the early 1990s as a church plant by the Baptist Convention of New Mexico, STBC has evolved from its traditional Southern Baptist roots to embrace a confessional Reformed Baptist position, formally adopting the Second London Confession in 2005. The church is deeply committed to its multicultural mission, offering simultaneous Spanish translation of all sermons and supporting a Reformed Baptist church plant across the border in Juarez. STBC actively engages its neighborhood through intentional fellowship, discipleship, and community service, while hosting Building Tomorrow's Mission, a nationwide ministry focused on developing mission-minded young adults. The congregation is a member of the Association of Reformed Baptist Churches of America (ARBCA), the Reformed Baptist Network, and the Texas Association of Reformed Baptist Churches.
