About Santa Teresa Baptist
Santa Teresa Baptist Church is a small, thriving reformed Baptist congregation located in Santa Teresa, New Mexico, near the international border with Juarez, Mexico. Founded in the early 1990s by the Baptist Convention of New Mexico, the church has grown from its traditional Southern Baptist roots to embrace a confessional Baptist position centered on the Doctrines of Grace. As a neighborhood church serving a predominantly Hispanic community, STBC is deeply committed to being multicultural and missional, with over half of its membership bilingual and able to offer simultaneous Spanish translation of all sermons. The church hosts a Spanish-speaking congregation, Iglesia Bautista Emmanuel, supports a reformed Baptist church plant in Juarez, and participates in Building Tomorrow's Mission, a nationwide ministry for young adults. STBC is affiliated with the Reformed Baptist Network, the Texas Association of Reformed Baptist Churches, and retains membership in the Southern Baptist Convention.
