About Congregation Kol Israel
Congregation Kol Israel is a Modern Orthodox Jewish community located in the Prospect Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn, founded in 1924 as the oldest continuously practicing Orthodox congregation in the borough. The congregation welcomes members from diverse religious and cultural backgrounds, from Chasidic to Modern Orthodox perspectives, and has grown to 75 member units. Guided by Torah and Halakha, the community is committed to creating a sacred space nurtured in prayer and acts of loving kindness that foster both personal and spiritual growth.
