About St Constantine & Helen Cathedral
Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Brooklyn has served as a spiritual and cultural home for Orthodox families across Brooklyn since 1913. Located in downtown Brooklyn on Schermerhorn Street, the cathedral offers a traditional Orthodox Christian worship experience conducted in both Greek and English. The Cathedral features intricate icons, flickering candles, and the gentle aroma of incense, creating an atmosphere of holiness and reverence. Beyond weekly Divine Liturgy, the parish supports numerous ministries including youth programs, the A. Fantis School, the Ladies Philoptochos Society, and the annual Brooklyn Greek Festival. Under the spiritual leadership of Father Evagoras Constantinides, the cathedral welcomes hundreds of families and invites visitors to experience the ancient traditions and warm community of Orthodox faith.

Dress Code: Presentable attire is expected as worshippers come to present themselves to the Lord. Service Format: The Divine Liturgy is conducted in both Greek and English, featuring traditional Orthodox worship with standing, sitting, moments of reflection, singing, and hymns. Services begin at 10:00 a.m. on Sundays and typically last about two hours. Visitor Tips: Parking is available at Edison Park Fast on Schermerhorn Street.
