Churches in Cambridge, NY

Most churches with shared Sunday schedules begin in the mid-morning range, with a couple starting between 9 and 10, another between 10 and 11, and one later in the morning. If you are visiting with children, ask ahead about kids ministry, since a couple of churches mention it. Small groups are also part of the life of a couple of congregations, which can be helpful if you want to move beyond Sunday worship and meet people in a smaller setting. One church notes a Wednesday gathering, so a midweek visit may be possible as well. Traditional worship is common, so expect a more familiar church rhythm in several places.

What stands out is the variety without a scattered feel. You can find Scripture-focused fellowship at Whiteside Church, parish life at Saint Luke’s Church, mission and spiritual growth at Embury United Methodist Church, and discipleship shaped by daily application of Scripture at Open Bible Baptist Church. New Skete Monks adds an Eastern Orthodox monastic presence, dedicated to monastic life since 1966.
