About Park Presbyterian Church
Park Presbyterian Church, located in Newark, New York, is the second-oldest parish in the area, organized in 1825 with roots tracing back to Presbyterian services held in a local schoolhouse in 1810. The current sanctuary, dedicated in January 1917, is an architectural landmark featuring a distinctive Greek cross layout with Byzantine and Early Romanesque design elements, including four Ionic columns and a dome supported by curved arches. The church continues its mission to make Christ visible by believing, living, and sharing the word of God, serving as a beacon of love and guidance in the community. Sunday worship services are held every Sunday at 10:00 a.m., followed by a coffee hour at 11:15 a.m., welcoming both longtime members and visitors to join in worship and fellowship.
