About St Francis Church
St. Francis Church in North Bellmore is an Episcopal community of faith that welcomes all. The congregation was formed through a 2013 merger with the bishop’s blessing and encouragement. Alongside its Sunday liturgical worship, St. Francis places a strong emphasis on environmental stewardship and organic gardening. The Garden at St. Francis helps feed hungry neighbors, and the garden also maintains three honeybee hives and sells local honey. The church’s labyrinth is open to the public between sunrise and sunset for walking, prayer, and reflection.
