Churches in Pawling, NY

If you are planning a first visit, Sunday mornings offer a few different starting points. Among the churches with shared schedules, one begins in the 9–10 AM range, one in the 10–11 AM range, and one starts at 11 AM or later. Central Baptist Church of Pawling, also known as Journey of Hope Fellowship, has Sunday worship at 10:00 AM. Holy Trinity Episcopal Church offers English worship at 10 AM and Spanish worship at 12 PM. Families may want to ask ahead about children’s ministry, since one church notes a kids ministry, and small groups are also part of the picture at one congregation. Traditional worship is the most commonly noted style.

What stands out in Pawling is the range of familiar Christian traditions in a compact church landscape. Lutheran, Baptist, Catholic, Methodist, and Episcopal churches are all represented, with traditional worship appearing most often where style is noted. Holy Trinity Episcopal Church also adds a bilingual Sunday pattern, offering services in English and Spanish, while Central Baptist Church of Pawling clearly welcomes visitors to its Sunday worship.
