Churches in Penfield, NY

For a first Sunday visit, plan on a mid-morning start. Among churches with shared schedules, services fall between 9 and 11 AM, with more beginning in the 10–11 AM window than earlier. If you prefer to watch first, Rochester Christian Reformed Church offers a livestream as well as in-person worship at 10 AM. Families have several good starting points, since kids ministry is common and youth groups are available at multiple churches. Small groups are present at a couple of congregations, which may matter if you are looking beyond Sunday worship. Worship styles vary, with traditional services more common and contemporary options available too.

What stands out is the range of communities served. Rochester Chinese Christian Church names a Gospel-centered focus for Penfield and Rochester, while Korean United Methodist Church of Rochester serves Korean-speaking worshippers in the area. Episcopal Church of the Incarnation emphasizes community, hope, and belonging, and Rochester Christian Reformed Church makes room for both in-person and livestream participation. The overall feel is varied but approachable.
