Episcopal Church of the Epiphany in Sherburne traces its roots to the first Episcopal service in Sherburne in 1819 and was founded in 1828 as Christ Church. Land was purchased in 1829, and the church building was constructed in 1831; it still stands on the same site where the congregation held its first service on Christmas 1831.
