About Ss. Peter & Paul Orthodox Church
Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Church has served the Syracuse community since 1916, originally established by Russian immigrants who brought their Eastern Orthodox faith to the region. Located on Tipperary Hill, the parish is a vibrant, multi-ethnic community that celebrates nearly 100 years of apostolic Christian tradition with services conducted almost entirely in English. Visitors will experience a liturgical worship style that engages all five senses through iconography, candles, incense, choir music, and the sacramental life of the church. The community welcomes seekers and inquirers to learn about the Orthodox faith and invites guests to participate in Saturday Great Vespers at 5pm or Sunday Morning Divine Liturgy at 9:10am. Father Ambrose Inlow encourages first-time visitors to reach out with questions and offers resources to help newcomers understand what to expect in Orthodox worship.
