About Legionaries Of Christ
The Legionaries of Christ is a Catholic religious order of approximately 1,300 priests and brothers serving across 23 countries, with a presence in the North American Territory including communities in the United States, Canada, the Philippines, and South Korea. Founded in 1941 in Mexico City and established as a Pontifical Rite congregation in 1965, the Legionaries dedicate themselves to forming apostles and Christian leaders who transform culture with the Gospel. Their mission centers on spiritual formation, leadership development, youth and young adult ministry, family support, education, and evangelization.
