About Holy Transfiguration Orthodox Church
Holy Transfiguration Orthodox Church is a parish of the Orthodox Church in America serving the Raleigh, Cary, Durham, and greater Triangle areas of North Carolina. Established as a mission in Raleigh in September 2000 with the blessing of Archbishop Dmitri, the parish moved to Morrisville in 2006 and received full parish status in 2012. The church recently relocated to its current location at 5408 Tryon Road in Raleigh in 2026, following a comprehensive renovation and renovation project. The parish is committed to spreading the ancient faith of the apostles and making disciples of all nations through sacramental communion with God and one another. Visitors are warmly invited to join the community for worship and to engage in the discipleship and community ministries that form the life of the parish.
