About St John's Child Development Center
St. John's Lutheran Church is a vibrant community of Christ followers located in downtown Salisbury, North Carolina, striving to connect faith and life together. The congregation welcomes both saints and sinners seeking to live like Jesus with love for God, one another, and the world. St. John's offers two distinct worship experiences on Sunday mornings: a contemporary service at 9:27 am in the Faith Center featuring modern worship music and multimedia, and a traditional service at 11 am in the Sanctuary rooted in Lutheran liturgical tradition and accompanied by a 72-rank Casavant organ. Both services are livestreamed online, and the church provides extensive accessibility accommodations including elevators, handicapped parking, closed captioning, and a shuttle service from Trinity Oaks. The congregation emphasizes connection through various ministries including small groups, women's and men's groups, youth programs, and student ministry, inviting visitors to introduce themselves to pastors and consider attending an Encounter Class to learn more about the church's purpose and beliefs.
