Founded in 1921 with 31 charter members, the church has grown to serve the Pleasant Hill community and surrounding areas from its current sanctuary, dedicated in 1978. Under the leadership of Senior Pastor Dr. Scott Courtney, the church offers Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. followed by a worship service at 11:00 a.m., featuring an adult choir and a message from Scripture. The church welcomes visitors and families, providing a nursery during worship and children's church for ages 3-5, along with active children's and youth ministries led by dedicated volunteers.
