About CHRISTUS Rex
Christus Rex is a campus ministry of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) located at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. As an inclusive community, Christus Rex has been designated a Reconciling in Christ community for over a decade, affirming its welcome and commitment to LGBTQIA+ individuals and anti-racism work. The community gathers young adults and community members together as a place to bring your whole self—your questions, worries, and joys—where you are reminded that you are loved and you belong. Whether visitors have attended church since childhood or are questioning faith entirely, Christus Rex centers God's promise of grace for all people. The ministry invites anyone seeking a safe, welcoming space to join their community of faith.
